Capcade’s product development team in Novi Sad is growing and we are looking for passionate and extraordinary interns. You will be part of a self-organized agile team that is working on our FinTech product which is shaping how financial transactions are sourced, negotiated, and executed. 

From the very first day of your internship, you will start with the onboarding program which includes adapting to the new environment, working conditions, teammates, and of course your learning path. There is no good internship without good mentorship, so you can count on an experienced and dedicated member of our team who will guide you and help you daily.

How long your internship can last depends on your aspirations, initiative, and capabilities, but certainly not less than a month and usually not more than three months in a row. The sooner you get your hands dirty the sooner you will be occupied with the tasks, discussions, plannings, and refinements.

We need you to help us build a better product by having the freedom to impact all stages of development - from idea, through development to delivery. As the product is our responsibility, we are happy to be able to choose the technology that is best suited to the needs of the product. Your ideas, decisions, and skills will matter and will make an impact on our product and the company itself. The main condition to become a part of an internship program is to be a regular student of the 3rd or 4th year of university studies.

Within our working environment, we have a flat team structure, no middle management, communication that is direct and transparent between all team members. In addition, we have an in-house product management team, so there is no communication overhead.

Like all other candidates, interns are involved in the selection process. But don't worry! It is simple and smart and only helps us to see where you stay at the moment so we can tailor the internship according to your as well as our needs. We value your ambitions and expectations and take care that you have all information in the beginning. If everything goes well, and we are both satisfied with the results of the internship, we suppose you a job offer! Hurray!

What is the internship about?

• UX/UI design
• Web Development (Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, Coffeescript, HTML5, CSS)
• Software Development (Java, Java Spring, AWS, Python)
• DevOps (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Pupett)
• Data Science (Machine Learning, AI, Big Data)
• QA/Testing (Manual Testing, Automated Testing)

If you plan to join us, you need to have some basic knowledge in:

UX/UI design

• Basic knowledge of Adobe family programs
• Basic knowledge of design
• Basic knowledge of typography

Web Development

• Basics of HTML/CSS programming language
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript

Software Development

• Basics of Java programming language 
• Basic knowledge of Data basis

QA

• Basic knowledge of Java programming language

Product ownership/management

• Basic knowledge of agile methodologies and Product Owner/Product manager role

HR

• Basic understanding of human resources, organization culture, and person-centered approach
